The actor is an active member on several social networking sites, not only to keep in touch with everybody, but to also understand the youths’ behavioral patterns.
He has been interacting with everyone under a pseudonym on the social networking websites. Since his blog www.aamirkhan.com is well-known, Aamir prefers to have a totally different identity to chat openly with people.
A media source said, “Aamir is quite hooked to websites like Orkut, Facebook and Twitter. It is, rather was, his best kept secret. He has a common pseudonym for all these websites. People often try to track him online, but since he doesn’t use his original name, they think Aamir isn’t much into social networking.
Aamir tries to peek into young minds by making friends online and interacting with them to learn more about them. He is especially keen to know how the youth reacts to various subjects related to politics, films, social issues, sports and other fields.”
Telling us more about Aamir’s networking habits, the media source added, “Aamir is usually online at night and spends hours online. He often accesses these websites from his phone too. So the next time you’re chatting with someone about social issues, it just might be Aamir Khan!”
