There is a popular saying in Bollywood that ‘Whatever Aamir ‘Perfectionist’ Khan does, he does not follow any style, because whatever he does, simply becomes a style in itself’!
The latest one being, he has gone bald for his forthcoming film Ghajini!
He was spotted with his new look, at the premiere of Race in Mumbai, yesterday.
His going bald had become the talk of the town, for quite some time now. And the D-day decided was his Birthday, which eventually got postponed.
Now the D-Day (or is it the B-Day- Bald Day!) arrived yesterday, when Aamir Khan ultimately bid good bye to his much loved hair, in the presence of his near and dear ones.
And the person, instrumental in this, was the renowned celebrity hair stylist, Avan Contractor, and the location was Aamir’s residence in Bandra.
But while he was expected to shave his head for the role, Aamir has gone in for a close crop instead, with shaved-off thinner white lines criss-crossing his head like scars.
“This is the look originally, yes. This is what the look was and this is what the director wanted so this is what I have done and there are these ’scars’ on my head and at the back also in two three places – since the character has got injured in the head,” explained Aamir.
Aamir wrote on his blog today:
“Yes I”ve finally buzzed off most of my hair.
After Murgadoss was totally satisfied that we had got all the shots we needed with my hair, including the photoshoot etc., he gave me the go ahead. Will make sure my site support team posts a picture of me. I”m right now in Dubai airport, in transit to Toronto, so I”ll send them a text. Should be up sometime today.”
It looks quite ironical that, it was the same Aamir, who had gone full fledged with his locks in Mangal Pandey: The Rising. And now it is the same Aamir, who has gone bald, though the common factor remains that, both of these ‘hairstyles’ were not an overnight decision. Aamir had spent lots of time working out on these looks.
So, please do not be surprised, if you suddenly find the young men going bald!
Because you know that the reason is not the summer, or the dandruff and definitely not the lice, but it’s called the refreshing ‘Aamir slice’!!!

Whatever Aamir Khan does, in any newlook we see him, it comes out perfect. I loved his look in Dil Chahta Hai and Mangal Pandey and in the above pics.
What surprises me in Aamir Khan is just one thing, his tastes for women! life partners, his wives!! His 1st wife wasn’t beautiful and everyone said while watching his ex-wife in (Qaya’amt se Qayamat Taq) his 1st movie: how did Aamir fell in love with this girl?! And now the second wife, and with one look at her in the above pic. everyone would have this question in their mind but they’d keep it for themselves!

I’ve a strong hunch that Aamir goes for nature of a person, how compatible is that person with him and vice versa.

Many people used to say that the inner beauty is most important, but after marrying and sharing life with the partner who never bothered about the outer look, to look feminine or sexy, this love used to blow away by the time, by watching beautiful and sexy ladies around everywhere. For men, inner beauty isn’t enough, phisical beauty matters as well. Maybe Aamir Khan is an exceptional, I don’t know, but there was a rumour when he had problems with his wife that he fell for Aishwariya Rai. And if this was true, then means that he couldn’t risist the outer beauty which his wife never had!
