Following the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Akshay Kumar for the first time, plays a superhero in 8×10.

When contacted, Shailendra Singh – Jt Managing Director of the company producing the film – says, “Yes, it is true that Akshay Kumar is playing a superhero in 8×10. ”

“In the film, he can read the minds of people and has special powers and the ability to solve extraordinary problems hence he is a psychological superhero. I can’t divulge anything more as that would be like revealing the plot of the film.”

The film also stars Sharmila Tagore and Ayesha Takia, who is paired opposite Akshay and it is being directed by Nagesh Kukunoor.

Singh further says, “The film has many breathtaking action sequences and Akshay has many dimensions to his character.”

Akshay Kumar is not attractive in comedy rolls. He did enough comedies, now he’s to stop and do some serious rolls.

He looks good in the above pic. suits him action and romantic movies, If he just try to work on his body he’d be perfect.

I’m from Bahrain, Gulf Arabia but I’m not Arab, I’m Persian. I used to work as an executive secretary at an Islamic Bank for 16 years. I grewup watching Indian movies, and the reason for my passion was that my father owned a cinema in our country.

Therefore, since my childhood I used to go alot to our cinema and watch different movies. I love Bollywood ’cause I find myself in it, I love Indian music very much and I visited India on April 2006, visited Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur & Mumbai. While I was in Mumbai for sightseing in a bus with our tour guide, I asked him to stopby at Bandara, opposite Shahrukh Khan’s house ( I see myself in Shahrukh as well) I got off from the bus and asked the security to let me in, wanted to meet SRK or at least his family, but they didn’t allow me. Shahrukh was in New York, shooting for Karan Johar’s movie Kabhi Al Vidha Na Kehna, I was happy that I had just a glimps and saw his house, and had some pics.
I think I sound as a teenage girl! don’t I? Actually I’m a matured woman, I’m a grandmother now but no one believes me when I say so. as I don’t look my age, everyone see me think I’m only 35years old ’cause of my look. That’s – in brief – my profile
What about you Ravi, from which part of India r are?? And I’d love to visit India again but to see other places, so where do u recommend? I love green places, mountains, waterfalls.

@Fathiya – My goodness! You’re a Grandmother!!!! :)

Thanks for telling me all about yourself, mam :)

I’m based in Northern India in New Delhi. And since you’ve already visited Agra, I would suggest, you should visit Goa and Kerala, the next time you come here.

Goa is famous for its exotic beach (sun & sand) and Kerela is refreshingly green :)

Take care!

Thanks, I thought of these places ’cause I was planning it for next month but the travel agency people told me that Kerala is hot now, and best time to visit it from Nov. – till February. I heard about Goa too. What about Ooti? Last night I was watching the movie “Raaz” which they shot in Ooti, I saw it very green and beautiful and saw some video in You Tube website as well. Have u ever been there?

Ravi April 13, 2008 at 2:37 pm

@Fathiya – Yes, Ooti is also a nice place to visit :)

Nopes, apart from Shimla and Mussoorie (both hill stations) I haven’t visited any other spots, till now.

However, once I quit my day job and become a full time professional blogger, may be then I would have the time to visit all the hot spots :)

Take care!
