Veteran painter M F Hussain‘s son Owais Hussain is planning a movie on his father. And guess whom he wants to rope in. Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan!
It’s reported that the movie is under planning for quite some time.
It can be recalled that Owais named this flick ‘The Making Of The Painter’ a few years back, and actor Shreyas Talpade was likely to play the young Hussain.
But it appears that a lot has changed, and Owais wants this film to be a musical with a popular actor. And thus, he zeroed on Hrithik, whom he feels has a great personality and intensity to carry the character.
Reports convey that the film will not be in the form of a biopic based on M F Hussain’s biography, but will aim to show Hussain’s lesser-known traits and his charismatic persona.
As for now, Owais is waiting for his father to return from Dubai so that he can start working on the film.
Music maestro A R Rahman may compose the music for the movie and Santosh Sivan will handle the cinematography.
