Remember Mani Ratnam’s all-time classic, Roja (1992), which was a pathbreaking film in many ways? Now, the buzz is that the film will be dubbed into English after a digital makeover.
Roja happens to be the debut film of music maestro A R Rahman, and the buzz is that the double Oscar winning music director is going to redo all the songs and background score in Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound.
Interestingly, the original soundtrack of the movie finds a place among the 10 Best Soundtracks of all time, listed by a popular magazine. The makers feel that Rahman’s new-found international fame will give the English Roja a fantastic reach!
